We enter Roger and Della’s world with a crash. Literally! A minor car crash in their driveway. There are a lot of bumps in a 40 year marriage, some bigger than others. The car still runs, as does the marriage, but things are rougher for both. It hasn’t been a good stretch for Roger. His partner pushed him out of his business and he’s not sure where to go next. Indecision isn’t comfortable for a man who likes order. That doesn’t make it easy for those around him. Roger’s wife and neighbor Eddie bear the brunt. Over the next couple of days both Della and Eddie try to figure out how to help the car and the marriage. Roger likes to figure things out for himself. Three well-meaning people that love each other can’t always solve a problem smoothly. But, it’s sure fun to watch them try.
