Ifeoma is a driven, brilliant and determined African American Studies student on her way to making her mark on the world. She is burdened by the extra effort that must be undertaken in order to compete in a country that wasn’t made for Black women. And then there is the matter of her tail. Tayir is an up and coming artist with a promising future and passion that burns like fire…as long as he produces art that his gallery deems “Black enough” and doesn’t shine too brightly. When these two worlds collide, they must reconcile what is worth the fight and who is on their side.
