LineStorm Playwrights Present: FINDING WILD by Susan Faust

LineStorm Playwrights

Artists Repertory Theatre (1515 SW Morrison St Portland, OR 97205)

  • April 14, 12 p.m. (noon)

A young scientist leaves her coldhearted family and aristocratic roots behind, moving into a rustic forester’s lodge deep in the woods of northern Poland. Forced to be neighbors with a stubborn, adversarial photographer named Lech, the equally stubborn Simona throws herself into saving the forest and its woodland creatures before it’s too late. Will she lose an eye to the crazy troublemaker always looking to pick a fight? Will her 200-pound roommate ever stop hogging the bed? And how can she stay one step ahead of the hunters and loggers desperate to get rid of her? Inspired by the lives of Simona Kossak, Lech Wilczek and the wild animals they come to know and love, this is a tale of unexpected connections, loss, and finding one’s place in the world.
